Activities of Head office Bangalore

- The residential school for the Visually Impaired children is presently providing education to the totally visually and lower vision children from 1st to 7th standard.
- It is the first and only institution in Karnataka providing education in English medium
- Boarding, lodging, clothing, uniforms, medical services along with Education are provided free to the children.
- In addition children are trained in music, dance, drama, sports and games.
These children have participated in District and State-level competitions in sports and cultural activities. They have also won prizes at such events.
The Integrated High School:

The association has instituted the Integrated High School from July 2006. Education is being provided to the visually challenged children and children with sight from socially and economically deprived sections of the society. This Residential School provides education and other services to 30 children.
Braille Library and Information center:

The association maintains a Braille Library and information Center, the only one of its kind in Karnataka. The Library project provides a reading room facility under the programs. Study visits, cultural tours and reading/ recording services are provided for college students.
The project is located in Bangalore and Serves 700-800 persons and institutions annually.
Job placement project:

Self Employment - Making garlands of Silk Cuccons
The "Placement Projects" help the visually challenged to secure employment opportunities. Every year, at least 50-60 persons take benefits of such placement projects.
