Braille Library and Information Center

The Association maintains a Braille Library & Information Centre, the only one of its kind in Karnataka.
The Library project provides a reading room facility and transcription of books in Braille.
Literary and cultural activities are also organized under the Thaliru monthly
programmed.
Study visits, cultural tours & reading/recording services are provided for college students.
The project is located in Bangalore & serves 700-800 persons & institutions annually.

Through the Narasimhan Braille Trans Unit donated by
Mr.Mahadevan Iyer, and through other voluntary organization
and through voluntaries trained in Braille Transcription,
books and reading materials are also prepared Library
prepares books in large prints and audio cassettes for the
benefit of college and University students. (The Association
also maintains a Children’s Library-Unit in coloboration with AICB.)
